These Terms apply to all visitors, students, parents, and users of the Platform.

The College Mentor provides free college admission counselling, college information, entrance exam guidance, and related educational resources to students in India and abroad.

Our services include: college shortlisting, admission process guidance, entrance exam information (KCET, NEET, COMEDK, JEE, KEAM, etc.), NRI quota assistance, document guidance, scholarship information, and hostel/relocation support.

All counselling services provided to students are free of charge. The College Mentor is compensated by partner colleges when a student successfully enrolls — this is disclosed transparently.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Platform. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

By using the Platform, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our sole discretion.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when submitting enquiries or contacting our counsellors.

You agree not to misuse our Platform — including attempting to gain unauthorized access, submitting false information, spamming our counsellors, or using the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

You are responsible for all decisions you make based on guidance received from our platform. Final admission decisions rest entirely with you and the respective colleges.

You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content on this Platform without our written permission.

Our counsellors provide guidance based on their experience, historical data, and knowledge of admission processes. This guidance is not a guarantee of admission to any college.

We recommend verifying all information — including fees, eligibility, cutoffs, and deadlines — directly with the respective college or examination authority before taking any action.

Our counsellors may refer you to specific colleges where we have partnerships. This referral is made in your best interest based on your profile — we do not push colleges that are unsuitable for your rank or budget.

All content on this Platform — including text, graphics, logos, icons, and data — is the property of The College Mentor or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may access and print pages from the Platform for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

College names, logos, and related trademarks belong to their respective institutions. Their use on our Platform is for informational purposes only.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at thecollegementor.co.in/privacy-policy.

By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

This includes but is not limited to: admission rejections, incorrect information on third-party sites, exam result outcomes, loss of fees paid to colleges, or any decisions made based on our platform content.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us (which in most cases is zero, as our services are free to students).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The College Mentor, its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from: your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or any inaccurate information you provided.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason at our discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
